Emberá Drúa - Crossing the Chagres
The Emberá Drúa is located up the Chagres river and was founded by Emiliano Caisamo, on April 25, 1975. Here with his family, he became the first to reach the Chagres River in the Province of Colon and became known as"Community 2.60" by the Canal Commission. This became one of the Pioneer communities in the Development of Community Tourism in Chagres river around the 1990s.
